Licensed Personal Lines Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Personal Lines Underwriter to manage client relationships and grow a book of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and grow a book of business
• Manage agency relationships and serve as lead client contact
• Rate, quote, and bind risks to determine acceptability, coverage, and pricing for renewals and new business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of commercial lines underwriting experience required, excess & surplus experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing
• Insurance license, CPCU, CIC or comparable designations preferred
• Interest in continued education and professional development
