Licensed Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary

Leading formulary design best practices, the full-time Manager of Formulary Design and Strategy will oversee the CareSource RXInnovations Value Assessment Committee, manage formulary operations, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance formulary management strategies in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Directs the operational management of the formulary management team, focusing on execution and performance enhancement
• Monitors the drug development pipeline and educates stakeholders on formulary changes to minimize member disruption
• Creates and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to formulary management and collaborates with Clinical Program Managers to improve health outcomes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required; MBA or related field preferred
• Minimum of five years of managed care experience, including two years in formulary management
• Experience leading a P&T, Value Assessment Committee, or Drug Utilization Review Board required
• Previous management experience is essential
• Unrestricted registered pharmacist (RPh) Licensure is required
