Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
Supporting medical management operations, the full-time Licensed Pharmacy Technician will review prior authorization requests, triage incoming requests, and communicate with healthcare providers while working remotely from 11:30 AM to 8 PM EST with mandatory weekend rotation.
Key responsibilities
- Review and determine prior authorization requests based on company policies
- Triaging and entering incoming prior authorization requests from provider offices
- Contacting hospitals and provider offices to obtain necessary clinical documentation
Required qualifications
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with a minimum of three years of experience
- Experience with Medicare Part B operations, including prior authorizations
- Proficient in technology, particularly Gmail/G Suite
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience caring for Medicare patients
