Licensed Physician Assistant Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Licensed Physician Assistant Consultant will manage clinical reviews and adjudications of appeals and grievances cases in collaboration with medical directors, contributing to process improvement and organizational committees.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing clinical review and adjudication of appeals and grievances cases
• Collaborate with an integrated team of medical directors and physician associates on case reviews
• Communicate appeals decision rationales and participate in team meetings for feedback and process improvement

Required qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant/Associate license in the state of residence
• Current Board Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• 5+ years of clinical PA practice experience
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to work Monday-Friday during normal business hours
