Licensed Physician Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Credentials Committee Physician Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly Credentials Committee meetings as a voting member
• Review and vote on credentialing files to support quorum requirements
• Serve as a backup to Medical Directors who are unable to attend scheduled meetings

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted license
• Experience in credentialing, peer review, or medical committee participation preferred
• Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and regulatory standards
• Ability to commit to monthly meeting attendance and respond flexibly to scheduling needs
