Job Summary

Supporting commercial nuclear projects, the contract Pipe Stress Engineer will perform stress analyses, prepare engineering specifications, and design modifications to existing power generation facilities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform stress analyses and develop design recommendations for power generation facilities
  • Prepare piping and engineering specifications to ensure code compliance
  • Lead design engineering efforts on multi-disciplined project teams and mentor junior engineers
Required qualifications
  • BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • 2-5 years of piping/mechanical design experience with a focus on pipe stress analysis in nuclear facilities or similar systems
  • Proficiency in AutoPIPE, GTStrudl, and Mathcad
  • Professional Engineering License preferred
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship
