Job Summary
Supporting commercial nuclear projects on a contract basis, the Licensed Pipe Stress Engineer will perform stress analyses, prepare engineering specifications, and lead design engineering efforts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform stress analyses and prepare piping engineering specifications for power generation facilities
- Design and analyze modifications to existing power plants and new plant systems
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during project execution
Required qualifications
- BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 2-5 years of piping/mechanical design experience with a focus on pipe stress analysis in nuclear facilities or similar systems
- Proficiency in AutoPIPE, GTStrudl, and Mathcad
- Professional Engineering License preferred
- Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship
