Job Summary
To support commercial nuclear projects, the contract Pipe Stress Engineer will perform stress analyses, prepare engineering specifications for code compliance, and lead design engineering efforts while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Perform stress analyses and design modifications for power generation facilities and plant systems
- Prepare piping and engineering specifications to ensure compliance with relevant codes
- Provide technical support for field execution and mentor junior engineers
Required qualifications
- BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- 2-5 years of piping/mechanical design experience focusing on pipe stress analysis in nuclear facilities or similar systems
- Proficiency in AutoPIPE, GTStrudl, and Mathcad
- Professional Engineering License preferred
- Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship
