Licensed Pipe Stress Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting commercial nuclear projects, the contract Pipe Stress Engineer will perform stress analyses, prepare engineering specifications, and lead design efforts for modifications to power generation facilities while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform stress analyses and prepare piping and engineering specifications for code compliance
• Design and analyze modifications to existing power plants and develop design change packages
• Provide technical support for field execution and mentor junior engineers

Required qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• 2-5 years of piping/mechanical design experience focused on pipe stress analysis in nuclear facilities or similar systems
• Proficiency in AutoPIPE, GTStrudl, and Mathcad
• Professional Engineering License preferred
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S
