Job Summary
Leading the design and planning of electric vehicle (EV) operations facilities, the full-time Licensed Preconstruction Designer will create site layouts, produce detailed drawings, and coordinate designs with internal and external teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create site layouts, feasibility studies, and early-stage design concepts for EV operations facilities
- Produce detailed drawings and documentation for facility components, ensuring compliance with building codes and standards
- Manage permitting processes and contribute to the development of design standards for consistency across projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
- Licensed Architect with 10+ years of experience in architectural design and pre-construction, preferably in transportation or industrial facilities
- Experience designing EV charging infrastructure and coordinating with electrical systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes and permitting processes
