Licensed Pricing Actuary

Job Summary

Leading the development of innovative pricing methodologies, the full-time Licensed Pricing Actuary will work remotely on a temp-to-hire basis, focusing on enhancing rating algorithms and supporting strategic initiatives for group disability and life insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new pricing methodologies and strategies for disability and life products
• Serve as a subject-matter expert in pricing mechanics for long-term and short-term disability products
• Evaluate the health of disability and life products through data analysis and process improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Fellow of the Society of Actuaries or global equivalent
• 6+ years of actuarial experience
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and Actuarial Standards of Practice
• Proficiency in Excel and VBA
• Self-motivated with strong analytical and leadership skills
