Job Summary
To support the Nuclear Services Group, the remote Licensed Principal Civil Engineer will design and analyze power plant systems, focusing on equipment mounts, foundations, and pipe supports while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze modifications for existing power plants and new systems, including seismic load considerations
- Perform site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop cost-effective problem resolutions
- Manage project deliverables, including preparation of design modification packages and structural calculations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Professional Engineering License
- Minimum 10 years of structural modification design experience, preferably in nuclear projects
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations
- Familiarity with concrete and steel design codes and the International Building Code
