Job Summary
Leading the development and launch of innovative building products, the full-time Licensed Principal Structural Engineer will work remotely or in a hybrid setting, focusing on enhancing sustainability and performance in residential and commercial structures.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design, evaluation, and improvement of structural systems for new building solutions
- Develop and prototype new building products and systems, incorporating feedback for iterative design improvements
- Interface with various stakeholders, including customers and architects, to ensure effective product design and production
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field with 15 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10 years, or a PhD with 6 years of experience
- Professional Engineering License required in any state
- 5+ years of experience in structural engineering and building design
- Experience applying building industry standards such as ASTM, NFPA, and ICC
- Preferred experience in prefabricated construction, including 3D modular or 2D panelized systems
