Job Summary

Providing expert legal guidance, the remote Licensed Privacy Staff Counsel will focus on HIPAA compliance, advise marketing and product teams on privacy considerations, and manage updates to health plan privacy notices while working full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted privacy advisor, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state privacy laws
• Review marketing and product initiatives for privacy and data protection considerations
• Operationalize health plan specific privacy programs, including training and policy updates

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) Degree
• Active license to practice law in current state of residence
• 3+ years of experience practicing health care privacy law in a large corporation, law firm, or government agency
