Licensed Product and Privacy Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel (Product and Privacy).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal advice to Product Teams on new products and features, focusing on privacy and data handling
• Manage privacy compliance processes, including updates to policies and responses to data subject requests
• Collaborate with Security and other teams on legal matters, including security incidents and compliance documentation

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the US
• 6-8 years of legal experience with a focus on product counselling, privacy, and data protection
• In-house experience at a fast-growing technology company
• Exposure to AI, SaaS, or high-growth technology environments
• Strong technical curiosity and understanding of product architecture and data flows
