Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel - Product.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance throughout the product lifecycle, including design, development, and launch
• Support data governance and assess legal, regulatory, and intellectual property risks
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliant product development and create legal support resources

Required Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in good standing in a relevant Canadian province or U.S. state
• 5-7 years of legal experience, with at least 4 years in product, technology, or IP matters
• Preferred prior in-house experience at a growing SaaS company
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable guidance
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
