Licensed Product Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a business-minded attorney, the full-time remote Licensed Product Counsel will provide practical legal advice throughout the product development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage risk and support innovation in data and analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Product and Engineering teams on legal issues throughout the product development lifecycle
• Review new products and features, offering timely legal guidance that balances risk and innovation
• Develop legal guidance, policies, and training materials to empower teams in decision-making

Required qualifications

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 4-7 years of relevant legal experience counseling SaaS companies
• Experience advising on intellectual property, software licensing, and privacy issues
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
• Experience with open-source software licensing and AI tools is a plus
