Licensed Product Counsel

Job Summary

To support innovative product development, the full-time remote Licensed Product Counsel will provide practical legal advice throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance while managing risk and enabling the creation of data and analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise cross-functional teams on legal issues during the product development lifecycle
• Review new products and features, providing timely legal guidance that balances risk and innovation
• Develop scalable legal guidance and training materials to empower teams in decision-making

Required qualifications

• J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 4-7 years of relevant legal experience counseling SaaS companies
• Experience advising on intellectual property, software licensing, and privacy issues
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Experience with open-source software licensing and AI tools is a plus
