Job Summary
Managing the design and implementation of data center infrastructure, the full-time Licensed Professional Engineer will ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security while collaborating with various teams and overseeing project execution.
Key responsibilities
- Developing blueprints and detailed plans for engineering projects, considering feasibility, cost, and maintenance
- Managing the engineering process from concept through final engineering, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Conducting tests and simulations to evaluate the performance and durability of materials and systems while overseeing project timelines and budgets
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Significant professional engineering experience, often requiring work under a licensed PE
- Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and Professional Engineering (PE) exams is mandatory for licensure
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD and Revit, along with analytical tools and engineering principles
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior team members
