Job Summary

As a remote Licensed Property Adjuster, the successful candidate will manage first and third-party claims under Root's Renters policy and third-party property damage claims, while enhancing the claims process through automation and app feature development.

Key responsibilities

• Handles first and third-party claims, ensuring an industry-leading experience for policyholders and claimants
• Initiates, investigates, and negotiates property damage losses while creating accurate repair or replacement estimates
• Coordinates additional living expenses and oversees the salvage process, identifying subrogation opportunities

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience handling property insurance claims and negotiating settlements
• Proficiency in XactAnalysis and Xactimate software for writing estimates and evaluating losses
• Current adjuster license in home state, with the ability to obtain additional licenses within three months
• Experience with desk adjusting and on-site inspections
• Familiarity with claims best practices and a strong sense of professionalism
