Licensed Property Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Experienced commercial property claims professionals will find a full-time remote or hybrid opportunity as a Licensed Property Claims Specialist, responsible for analyzing complex losses, making sound claim decisions, and mentoring others in a desk-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and document claim activities to ensure fair resolution and compliance with state and federal laws
• Make complex coverage decisions and conduct thorough investigations to evaluate damages and develop resolution strategies
• Lead negotiations with stakeholders and authorize payments while maintaining audit-ready documentation

Required qualifications

• Eight or more years in commercial technical insurance claim roles with increasing responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience
• Evidence of continuing education in the insurance industry is required
• Completion of AIC and/or CPCU is preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain state adjusting license requirements and complete continuing education
