Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychiatric Consultant to support their Collaborative Care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide regular caseload consultations to Behavioral Health Care Managers, focusing on patient treatment plans
• Recommend treatment adjustments and support transitions of care for patients needing specialized mental health services
• Offer ad hoc consultations to primary care providers for complex patient situations

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatrist or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC); Dual Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred
• Licensed in two or more states including Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey, or New York
• Experience in a Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) or equivalent
• Ability to synthesize medical and psychiatric data for clinical recommendations
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
