Job Summary
Seeking a compassionate Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, the remote position will provide psychiatric consultation and treatment support to pediatric primary care providers within a Collaborative Care Model, ensuring timely, evidence-based mental health support for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with behavioral health care managers and PCPs to review patient caseloads and provide treatment recommendations for various behavioral health conditions
- Conduct systematic caseload reviews to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
- Provide indirect psychiatric consultation on diagnostic clarification and treatment options while documenting consultations in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Associate (PA-C) with an active, unrestricted license in TN, TX, CA, MD, FL, VA, CT, or CO
- Pediatric psychiatric experience is required
- Experience with the Collaborative Care Model, integrated care, or telepsychiatry is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a consultative, team-based environment
- Commitment to population health and expanding access to evidence-based mental health care
