Licensed Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To support a growing tele-behavioral health service, the part-time Licensed Psychiatrist will provide outpatient psychiatric care via virtual platforms, focusing on treatment for low to moderate acuity patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with various mental health disorders
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to manage complex cases and provide consultation services
• Ensure quality assurance in psychiatric care and maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
• Completed internship and residency in Psychiatry from an accredited U.S. program
• Two years of experience providing psychiatric care using virtual platforms, preferably within the Military Health System
• Current board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Psychiatrist
