Licensed Psychiatrist Advisor

Job Summary

To support a venture capital fund focused on healthcare innovation, the part-time Psychiatrist Physician Advisor will evaluate startups, provide clinical insights into psychiatric practices, and guide investment strategies remotely for approximately 2-3 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate startups through the lens of psychiatry, focusing on behavioral health workflows and outcomes tracking
• Assess investment opportunities in digital mental health, telepsychiatry, and AI-enabled behavioral health tools
• Advise portfolio companies on clinical implementation, patient safety, and integration into health systems

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO with Psychiatry training
• Active clinical practice preferred
• Strong understanding of psychiatric workflows and integrated care models
• Familiarity with reimbursement and regulatory dynamics in behavioral health
• Interest in digital health and venture capital
