Licensed Psychiatrist Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced psychiatrists, the part-time Psychiatrist Advisor will provide clinical and strategic insights to evaluate and support healthcare startups remotely, dedicating approximately 2-4 hours per month to enhance mental health access and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on healthcare startups focused on psychiatry and related areas
• Support evaluation of healthcare startups regarding business models, clinical relevance, and scalability
• Advise on psychiatry workflows, patient care pathways, and commercialization strategies for portfolio companies

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with experience practicing psychiatry
• Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry preferred
• Experience in mental health care, addiction medicine, or healthcare innovation preferred
• Strong understanding of psychiatry workflows and behavioral health access challenges
• Ability to commit approximately 2-4 hours per month to advisory activities
