Licensed Psychologist, Peer Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely from anywhere within the U.S., the part-time Licensed Psychologist, Peer Reviewer will apply clinical criteria to assess treatment coverage for Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare cases, including conducting non-MD clinical reviews and participating in peer consultations.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct non-MD clinical reviews of outpatient treatment plans and requests for psychological testing
• Review ongoing outpatient care and manage requests for non-standard outpatient services
• Participate in peer consultations, staff meetings, and trainings while entering determinations in compliance with guidelines

Required qualifications:

• Licensed doctoral level (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) Psychologist with a current, unrestricted license for independent practice
• 3+ years of post-licensure experience
• Experience working with insurance agencies
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Windows OS, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Proven ability to type proficiently while speaking on the phone
