Licensed Psychologist Reviewer

Job Summary

To support a mission-driven organization, the full-time Remote Psychologist Reviewer will utilize their clinical expertise to review psychological testing and treatment documentation for medical necessity and quality of care while maintaining a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Authorize, direct, and monitor care for behavioral health and substance abuse problems based on clinical information
• Conduct peer reviews with psychologists and behavioral health therapists for outpatient services and psychological testing requests
• Interact with network practitioners to educate on best practice models and utilization management processes

Required qualifications

• PhD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavior Analysis, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health
• Active Psychologist Unrestricted License (PhD or PsyD) upon hire
• Working knowledge of psychological tests, diagnostic evaluations, and evidence-based practices
• Preferred: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCBA-D upon hire
