Job Summary
To support a short-term AI training study, the contract Regional Anesthesiologist will annotate ultrasound images, focusing on nerve landmarks and relevant anatomy, while utilizing active ultrasound-guided nerve block experience.
Key responsibilities
- Annotate ultrasound images with a focus on nerve landmarks and surrounding anatomy
- Identify and label nerves relevant to regional anesthesia procedures
- Apply clinical knowledge of nerve-adjacent vascular and soft tissue structures in the groin and lower extremity
Required qualifications
- MD with anesthesiology training and active regional anesthesia practice
- Regular use of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, preferably performing 15 or more blocks per month
- Experience with lower extremity blocks, including femoral, adductor canal, sciatic, popliteal, or fascia iliaca
- Comfort identifying the femoral nerve and surrounding neurovascular bundle on ultrasound
