Licensed Regional Director of Authorizations
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Licensed Regional Director of Authorizations will manage assigned regions, oversee workload distribution, and collaborate with clinical teams while working remotely with occasional travel to headquarters.
Key responsibilities
- Manage workload distribution and team productivity within the assigned region, including conducting ongoing team meetings
- Review and audit packet submissions to insurance funders and conduct peer reviews for authorization requests
- Collaborate with Area Directors and clinical teams to address case-specific needs based on medical necessity criteria
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a BCBA
- Preferred experience in insurance
- Working knowledge of healthcare communication regulations, privacy laws, and HIPAA
- Must meet the recommendation of regional leadership
