Licensed Reinsurance Underwriter

Job Summary

Serving as a client-facing representative, the full-time Licensed Reinsurance Underwriter will manage the transaction process, negotiate deals, and explore new markets while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the transaction process and negotiate final pricing in collaboration with senior underwriters
• Engage with clients and brokers, attending conferences and organizing meetings to promote business development
• Structure and negotiate reinsurance deals, ensuring compliance with contract language and governance requirements

Required qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the reinsurance market, ideally with junior broker experience
• Prior underwriting experience is a plus, with familiarity in reinsurance transactions and lines of business
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship
• Experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools in underwriting processes
• Ability to manage legacy contracts and ensure adherence to exclusions and ESG requirements
