Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collateral Appraiser.

Key Responsibilities

Order, track, and manage residential property appraisals through approved AMCs
Review appraisal reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards
Evaluate collateral for Non-QM loan products and document findings, escalating risks as necessary

Required Qualifications

Active state-licensed or state-certified residential appraiser license in good standing
3+ years of experience in residential real estate appraisal or mortgage collateral review
Strong knowledge of USPAP, AIR, FNMA/FHLMC guidelines, and Non-QM lending practices
Experience evaluating investment properties and complex residential properties
Familiarity with appraisal platforms and LOS systems
