Licensed Respiratory Clinician
Job Summary
Supporting clinical teams in a fully remote capacity, the Licensed Respiratory Clinician (RT, RN, or LPN) will manage patient communications, assist with compliance tasks, and educate patients on equipment usage and maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Completes compliance tasks including scheduling appointments and conducting telehealth sessions
- Educates patients on the use and maintenance of their PAP machines and assists with charting
- Communicates with referral sources and insurance companies to streamline authorization processes and retrieve necessary documentation
Required qualifications
- Active and unrestricted license as a Respiratory Therapist (RT), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Knowledge of insurance compliance requirements for NIV, PAP, and related equipment
- Experience in patient education and support within a clinical setting
- Familiarity with DASCO equipment and services
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
