Licensed Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary

Providing virtual respiratory patient care, the fully remote Licensed Respiratory Therapist will manage ventilator patients, maintain clinical records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide ongoing education for invasive and non-invasive ventilator patients in a virtual setting
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure timely follow-ups for ventilator patients
• Facilitate communication with team members, physicians, and referral sources regarding patient care issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in state of residence, with the ability to obtain licenses in other states as needed
• One year of clinical experience as a respiratory therapist, with strong experience in ventilator patient care
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and ventilator compliance software
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and third-party payer guidelines related to ventilation
