Licensed Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary

Providing virtual respiratory patient care, the fully remote Licensed Respiratory Therapist will manage ventilator patient assessments, maintain clinical records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate invasive and non-invasive ventilator patients in a virtual setting and provide ongoing education to patients and caregivers
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure timely follow-ups and compliance with prescriptions and care plans
• Facilitate communication with team members, physicians, and referral sources regarding patient care issues and recommendations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in the state of residence, with the ability to obtain licenses in other states as needed
• One year of clinical experience as a respiratory therapist, with strong experience in managing ventilator patients
• Proficient knowledge of ventilator compliance software and new technology related to respiratory care
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
