Licensed Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary

Providing virtual respiratory patient care, the fully remote Licensed Respiratory Therapist will manage ventilator patients, conduct assessments, maintain clinical records, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate invasive and non-invasive ventilator patients in a virtual setting and provide ongoing education to patients and caregivers
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure timely follow-ups and compliance with care plans and prescriptions
• Facilitate communication and recommendations to physicians and referral sources while adhering to Medicare/Medicaid guidelines

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in state of residence with the ability to obtain licenses in other states
• One year of clinical experience as a respiratory therapist, specifically with ventilator patients
• Proficient knowledge of ventilators and related compliance software
• Experience in clinical assessments and equipment troubleshooting
