Licensed Roadway Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Roadway Engineer II to support major regional road and highway projects remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on roadway engineering and design assignments
• Utilize drafting and modeling software to develop and refine roadway designs
• Assist in the preparation of design calculations, technical reports, and specifications for projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 5 years or more of progressive roadway or highway engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation Geopak, and/or OpenRoads
• Working knowledge of roadway design standards and state DOT design manuals preferred
