Job Summary
Dedicated to making a profound impact on students with learning differences, the part-time Licensed School Social Worker will provide essential social work services, collaborate on treatment plans, and lead mental health interventions in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect social work services to address the psychosocial and emotional needs of students and families
- Collaborate with school teams to develop tailored treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals
- Lead mental health interventions by designing positive behavioral strategies and conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations
Required qualifications
- Active Clinical Social Worker license (LCSW)
- Valid state license or certificate for K-12 school practice
- Minimum of one year of full-time, on-site school social work experience
- Expertise in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks and psycho-educational evaluations
- Strong communication skills tailored for diverse student populations and families
