Licensed Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to work in the Power Division, focusing on projects in the transmission & distribution and renewables sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and authenticate designs for site preparation, storm water management, and access roads in the power industry
• Liaise with project stakeholders to facilitate information flow and provide design clarifications during construction
• Provide technical leadership to the Civil team and monitor project schedules and budgets

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in civil engineering related to transmission lines, substations, and utility projects
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and licensed as a professional engineer in the USA
• Working knowledge of civil design standards in the USA
• Experience in industrial design including site development and drainage design
• Familiarity with software such as Civil 3D, XP Storm, and AutoDesk AVT is an asset
