Licensed Senior Claims Counsel

Job Summary

To support claims resolution, the remote Licensed Senior Claims Counsel will investigate title insurance claims, develop legal strategies, and manage litigation while collaborating with Claims Management and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of claims and examine title for legal analysis and resolution strategy
• Negotiate settlements and engage outside counsel as needed for litigation supervision
• Draft agreements, training materials, and assist in staff training and claims handling practices

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate Degree
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state
• Minimum five years' experience with title insurance claims administration or real estate law
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents and prepare presentations
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
