Licensed Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Licensed Senior Electrical Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for providing technical leadership on industrial electrical engineering projects, including design, calculations, and client interactions across various sectors such as steel and power generation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering and design efforts for capital and maintenance projects from concept through commissioning
• Develop and review electrical engineering deliverables, including power distribution designs and technical specifications
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering efforts and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with codes and standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• 20+ years of electrical engineering experience in consulting environments
• Strong understanding of medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems and industrial grounding systems
• Experience with electrical power system modeling software such as SKM or ETAP
