Licensed Senior Legal Consultant

Job Summary

Overseeing the quality and accuracy of legal datasets used for AI training, the full-time Licensed Senior Legal Consultant will perform senior-level quality audits and provide expert reviews to ensure compliance with rigorous legal standards in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine training guidelines to align with standard legal practices and terminology
• Audit complex legal outputs for errors in logic, jurisdictional nuance, or statutory interpretation
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify inconsistencies in data and improve evaluation criteria

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) with current or former bar admission in good standing
• 10-20+ years of legal experience, preferably as Senior In-House Counsel or Lead Litigators
• Ability to communicate complex legal nuances to non-legal technical teams effectively
• Practical understanding of AI tools used in legal research and contract drafting
• Familiarity with legal tech systems like eDiscovery platforms and advanced legal research databases
