Licensed Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for their Data Center and Mission Critical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing Heat Rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers
• Conducting CFD analysis to optimize airflow distribution and ensure efficient cooling
• Collaborating with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate HVAC systems with critical infrastructure

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education
• Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation
• P.E. registration is required
• Preferred bachelor's degree in mechanical or HVAC engineering, with advanced coursework being advantageous
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute and TIA 942
