Licensed Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for the Data Center and Mission Critical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Heat Rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers
• Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to optimize airflow and cooling efficiency
• Ensure redundancy and fault tolerance in HVAC systems for continuous operation during maintenance or failures

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation
• P.E. registration is required
• Preferred bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute and TIA 942
