Licensed Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a remote, direct hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering design for power generation facilities, including expansions and new builds
• Develop and review key deliverables such as P&IDs, equipment specifications, and piping layouts
• Oversee integration of mechanical systems with other engineering disciplines and provide field engineering support

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in power generation, focusing on combined cycle or thermal power plants
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, HRSG and boiler systems, and balance-of-plant mechanical systems
• Experience in a consulting engineering or EPC environment is highly preferred
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred
