Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Safety Specialist who will provide medical expertise to support patient safety throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and clinical information regarding product usage and performance related to patient safety
• Evaluate safety signals and author safety assessments based on various data sources
• Respond to safety inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring evidence-based medical safety input

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of clinical experience (2+ years with an advanced degree)
• Active healthcare license with relevant patient care experience
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a biological science or related medical/scientific field
• Solid medical background, preferably with experience in cranial and/or spinal surgical specialties
• Understanding of regulatory guidance from agencies like the FDA and EMEA
