Licensed Senior Roadway Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Roadway Engineer to join their Transportation team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of roadway projects, including concept, preliminary, and final design
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is desirable
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in roadway design engineering
• Proficiency in roadway design software (e.g., MicroStation, InRoads, Open Roads)
• Strong knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA, and state DOT design standards and guidelines
