Licensed Senior Structural Engineer

Job Summary

To support renewable energy projects, the full-time Licensed Senior Structural Engineer will perform structural engineering reviews, prepare design specifications, and advise developers on utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects, all while working remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering reviews and analyses for power projects
• Prepare structural design specifications and develop technical reports for various stakeholders
• Advise power project developers to support new utility-scale projects and evaluate projects for financing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering with a structural specialty; Master's degree is a plus
• 8+ years of detailed structural design experience, including mass concrete and steel
• 5+ years of experience in structural design specific to power generation or distribution
• Experience in writing support documentation for structural engineering specifications and feasibility studies
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
