Licensed Senior Underwriter - Restaurants

Job Summary

Managing the underwriting process for restaurant risks, the full-time Licensed Senior Underwriter - Restaurants will analyze applications, negotiate pricing with brokers, and ensure adherence to program guidelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite restaurant risks for primary package and excess/umbrella lines of business
• Analyze and evaluate applicants to ensure proper risk selection and negotiate pricing and coverage with brokers
• Rate and quote new and renewal business while adhering to underwriting guidelines and maintain proper file documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5 years of Commercial Package (ISO-based) underwriting experience
• Prior experience underwriting restaurants is required
• Property and Casualty Insurance license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ISO-based rating
