Job Summary
To support a growing academic community, the full-time Licensed Social Work Professor will develop and teach online courses, mentor students and faculty, and engage in program development while working remotely from approved states.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, assess, and teach online courses within the Social Work programs, ensuring alignment with program outcomes and accreditation standards
- Mentor and support students, adjunct faculty, and other stakeholders to promote student success and program quality
- Participate in service to the discipline and institution, including committee work and community engagement
Required qualifications
- Earned Doctorate (PhD, DSW, or closely related field) in Social Work or a related discipline from an accredited institution; ABD candidates may be considered
- Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE accredited program
- Minimum of two years of post-MSW professional practice experience in social work
- Experience teaching in higher education, preferably in online asynchronous modalities
- Commitment to student-centered teaching and supporting a diverse adult learner population
